Doodle Kilim 5'1 x 7'1
The Doodle Kilim, also known as the Instruction Kilim was designed by Ela Cindoruk in collaboration with Dhoku. Ela Cindoruk is an esteemed jeweler in Istanbul who asked the weaver to weave the aimless doodles she made on a peice of scrap paper while having a phone conversation.
All Dhoku Kilims are handwoven in Anatolia, Turkey and dyed with natural dyes from plant sources that generate varying shades. The kilim is then left to "bake" in the sun for months to create its unique over-dyed effect. No two will ever be exactly alike.
