Tembea is a Japanese bag brand that was founded in 2004. The brand's name means "wanderer" in Swahili and reflects their goal of making products that accompany people on exploratory journeys. Tembea's bags are designed to be versatile and can be used for a variety of purposes, such as carrying books, toys, vegetables, or bread. The brand's bags are made from specially woven canvas that is treated with a paraffin coating to make it water repellent. Woven on machines that are 40–50 years old to ensure, the canvas is durable and of the highest quality.

All full-priced merchandise (excluding Fine Jewelry) may be returned to us within 14 days, unworn and undamaged, in its original packing for full refund in the original form of payment.

Returned items must be unworn, unwashed, undamaged with original tags attached.

To help us process your return quickly and insure you receive proper credit, please include a copy of your packing list or gift receipt in your package, along with a phone number and preferred time to contact you should we have the need.

Please send your returns by UPS or insured Parcel Post or a traceable international carrier. Lost shipments are the responsibility of the sender. 

Please note that items discounted beyond 50% may have slight signs of wear, discoloration, pulled threads, or small tears. If you would like images of the exact piece prior to purchase our team is happy to accommodate such requests in a timely manner. 

Shipping and gift-wrapping fees are non-refundable.
